Mary Sol Gonzalez

Mary Sol Gonzalez, Founder & CEO

Mary Sol González was born in Venezuela and has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Andres Bello Catholic University. Since high school she has always been involved in the non Profit community in diverse areas, and after graduation she had the opportunity to live in four continents, thus enriching her multicultural mindset. She brought her passion of serving in organizations such as the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital, International Women Organizations with emphasis in child trafficking, cultural diversity, fair trade and more. One of her most fulfilling endeavors was the creation of a free clinic for families in the Philippines and the work to assist on the building of water wells in Kenya. Former owner of a Signs and Marketing company, she was exposed to the local organizations that serve the community through her work with the Chamber of Commerce. In 2013 she was one of the founders of the Boca Chamber’s International Business Alliance. She served on the Executive Board of Networking Hispanos for 6 years and co-founded Women Development Network 2.0. Mary Sol has been a community captain for the Boca Raton Bowl since it’s first year and is part of the Women Build Initiative for Habitat for Humanity. A Board member of the Boca Raton Chamber’s Golden Bell Education Foundation from 2015 to 2019, she serves on the Board of the Peter Blum YMCA Boca Raton, co-chairs the Junior League Non Profit Training Committee and has become a Consultant for small Non Profit Organizations such as HOME (Homeless Outreach Mentoring and Education). Currently the Chairwoman of the Board of the Children’s Museum, she is a graduate of the Leadership Boca Class of 2013 and has served as a Day Planner since 2014 working as liaison to discover the Palm Beaches and Boca Raton Resort and Club. She is an Advisor for international Non Profit Organizations Extending a Hand, Empresarias Hispanas and Imagina.

Yulimar Trumbo, Training and Coaching Programs Founder

Mrs. Trumbo is a Systems Approach Specialist, with a mission to empower Immigrant/Hispanic/Business Owners in the US to become ultimate learners through their entrepreneurial evolution, via a 360° perspective of the process. A multilingual, multicultural Systems engineer, speaker and facilitator with more than 15 years of experience in retraining organizations throughout large-scale technology adoption projects. Her sessions focus on Business Reengineering, Sales, Learning and Diversity, based on principles of Emotional Intelligence and Positive Discipline. Entrepreneur, seasoned homeschooler and mother of two, Mrs. Trumbo is based in sunny Boca Raton, Florida.

o   Armando Garcia-Sanchez is an executive with 20+ years of USA – LatinAmerica and International multi-industry experience acquired with global companies in: Technology (Nokia, EDS); Pharma (Wyeth-Pfizer); Supply Chain – Manufacturing (Avon, Wyeth, Hilti, Vitro); Consumer Products (Avon, PepsiCo, Yum, and Coca-Cola Panamco); Consulting (Electio Consulting, Solera Inc.); Financial Services (Santander Financial Group) Armando Garcia-Sanchez holds a B.S. in Clinical Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana (in Mexico City), where he was also an Adjunct Professor in Organizational Behavior, Interviewing Techniques, Neurochemistry, and other subjects for 10+ years. He got a Specialization in Organizational Development from ITAM (in Mexico City) and a Global Masters in Human Resources and Leadership from Rutgers University. He has working and living experience in multiple countries in the Americas, Europe, India and China.       Ofelia Bukantz de la Garza – Senior Human Resource Manager. – PepsiCo Latin America Beverages

o   Ofelia Bukantz de la Garza moved this year to Miami, Florida from Mexico City, Mexico. She received her BA at the University of Texas and after graduation accepted a job to work with PepsiCo Mexico. She currently holds the position of Senior HR Manager for PepsiCo Latin America Beverages responsible for Corporate Social Responsibility, Awards and Recognition and Communications programs for Latin America. Since an early age, Ofelia has been passionate about helping her community and the role of women in society. In this regard she has been very much involved as a member/president of organizations such as: Junior League of Mexico, Red Cross of Mexico, and Executive Women International in Mexico and then globally. Ofelia is a firm believer that no Organization/Corporation can survive in the business world without having business practices that benefit the community. Organizations have found the need to create programs that can impact communities and the society. We should be working to develop healthier and more responsible citizens that go beyond charitable giving but create long-term solutions. In this sense, Ofelia is a key developer of initiatives for PepsiCo Latin America such as: Building Communities with the World Food Program in Ecuador; Operation Smile in most countries in Latin America as well as Eco Challenge with Young Americas Business Trust (OAS). In her free time Ofelia enjoys reading, listening to music, travelling and meeting with friends.


      Berkly Trumbo – North American Strategic Sales Leader – Honeywell

o   Mr. Trumbo has more than two decades of experience in senior management roles, strategic business development, and as a subject matter expert and consultant with global companies such as Honeywell, Siemens, and G4S. He has a successful track record as an agent of change with a depth of experience related to, sales management, , marketing and communications, go-to-market strategy, and product development and launch. Additionally he has co-founded several innovative start ups across media and mobile gaming. He has a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from George Mason University and lives in Boca Raton with his wife and children.


      Clara Bennett – Executive Director of the Boca Raton Airport

o   Clara Bennett is the Executive Director of the Boca Raton Airport Authority, where she leads a team of dedicated aviation professionals in the business operations, marketing and development of the Boca Raton Airport. Clara has more than 28 years of experience as an airport executive. At the Boca Raton  Airport Authority, she has developed a $30 million Capital Improvement Plan to enhance facilities and services available to the flying public including the new US Customs and Border Protection Facility, various safety and security enhancements and airfield and access improvements. Prior to joining the Airport Authority in 2014, Clara served as Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) Manager directing the operation and administration, the 200-accre Airport Industrial Airpark, the John Fuhrer Downtown Helistop  and Foreing Trade-Zone #241. She also served as the Deputy Director of the Transportation and Mobility Department, leading efforts to enhance walkability, livability and transit in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Clara is a licensed pilot and holds a Bachelor Of Science degree in Aviation Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.


      Alexandra Sierra De Varona – Owner –  De Varona Law

o   After completing law school, Alexandra worked at an insurance defense firm. She handled constitutional, employment, and personal injury matters.  As an insurance defense attorney she was able to avoid liability for her clients in numerous cases. She also prevailed in multiple appellate matters. Since then, Alexandra represents both Plaintiffs and Defendants in business, probate, constitutional, and construction litigation matters through trial and appeal. Her efforts in representing several Plaintiffs, have led to multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. She has also been able to avoid liability for Defendants on many occasions. Her work in the courtroom has led her clients to retain her in drafting employment and partnership agreements, leases, wills, and trusts. She has been practicing in these areas for over a decade. Alexandra has earned the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent® Rating from her peers.  AV Preeminent® is a significant rating accomplishment – a testament to the fact that an attorney’s peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence. o   Former Director of Social Investment at Nonprofits First, a Management Support Organization providing leadership and organizational development to hundreds of nonprofits in South FL, where he founded the Sustainability and Social Enterprise Institute – serving as lead faculty presenter. Former Manager of the Office Depot Foundation, helping advance the educational needs of children and assisting nonprofit organizations seeking donations, working with international partners in disaster recovery, and managing the in-kind gifts program providing office supplies for nearly 3,000 charities worldwide. Ph.D. in Global Leadership at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL, with research on the role of businesses creating strategic engagement platforms for social good. BA in Political Science and a MBA in Nonprofit Management. His specialties include: working with social entrepreneurs and enterprise leaders to create compelling narratives that focus their enterprise as a tool for social good. Other areas of focus include nonprofit and social sector advocacy work, strategic fund-development, and targeted campaign management.
